Step 1
Documentation (AKA Form 13 or the NIM) needs to be signed
and lodged with the celebrant no sooner than 1 month and no
later than 18 months before the date of the wedding. This
form is supplied by the celebrant or can be downloaded from
the Attorney General's website
At the first meeting you will need to bring with you your
birth certificates and passports. If you do not have either
of these and you were born in Australia you will need to obtain
extracts from Births Deaths and Marriages.

If divorced you will need a copy of your "Decree Nisi of
Dissolution of Marriage." The family Law Court can assist
you.

Step 2
Once the formalities and lodgement of the documents have been
attended to the celebrant will help you design the ceremony
of your choice and will give you a manual with helpful information
and choice of ceremonies etc. She is also available for any
guidance you may need in the planning of your wedding.
Step 3
The rehearsal. The celebrant will meet you at the chosen wedding
venue a few days before the wedding date for a rehearsal.
If the venue is unavailable, another venue can be arranged.
