I
am an experienced celebrant trained by Australian Celebrations
and assessed and accepted by the Attorney General's Department.
My background is a theatrical one, having sung and performed
in many musical theatre productions, light opera and as part
of a duo with my husband Geoff who sings with me and plays
twelve-stringed guitar.
We have worked mainly in the corporate field, i.e. black
tie dinners, in-service weekends, private functions etc but
now enjoy singing in retirement villages, Probus clubs and
private functions.
At our audiences' request we have produced two CD's, which
have been very successful.
As well as coming from large families
ourselves, Geoff and I have five children ranging from 17
years to 28 years and value family life above all other things.

I have sung at many weddings and often admired the celebrants
work so when the opportunity arose to undertake training in
this field I didn't hesitate.
Becoming a marriage celebrant was a wonderful thrill and
honour for me and I love my new found profession. |
